The Nashoba News

May 2008

It’s almost gone! With May just around the corner the hill is green again.

Winter 2007-2008, fun facts!

-This from Teresa, our bookkeeper, at our season high we had 949 employees. This includes the Tubing Park, all on-snow operations employees at the ski hill, the building/maintenance people, and of course all of the snack bar/restaurant employees.

-David McPhee spent over 200 hours in his groomer making that perfect Corduroy!

-We received 76 inches of natural snow! 9 inches above our average snowfall!

-Over 1,000 people raced through gates in the slalom course.

-We were open for business on the hill for 95 days!

-The Slopes went from full coverage snow to green in only 18 days, but then again they went from green to full coverage snow in only 24 hours.

The Outlook is open year round

Stop by and say hi, have something to eat or a drink, it’s a great view when the slopes are green to.
