Rovers Racing Program : Monday and Wednesday 6:30 - 8:30pm
The Rovers USSA Program at Nashoba Valley is our premier USSA racing program and is available to experienced racers ages 10-18. Our goals are to teach and reinforce skiing fundamentals, racing tactics, instill self esteem and a strong work ethic in our young athletes. By working closely with our coaches to set and assess personal goals we have seen our racers build the discipline and patience required to succeed at a top level in the sport of competitive ski racing.
The Rovers train at an advanced level and are encouraged to develop their skills to the fullest. All Rovers have previous experience with competitive ski racing. Our U12 and U14 compete with in the Eastern Region of the Tri-State organization racing at Nashoba, Bradford and Wachusett during the regular season with Championships against the full league, which consists of Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. U16's, U-18's and U-21's compete against the full league with races predominantly in Western Massachusetts. U14's through U18's can qualify for post season USSA events held in Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. You can expect more advanced racing skills to be introduced and the level of gate training to be increased with age. Join us for the fun!! For more info, visit www.roversracers.com.

Here at Nashoba Valley your child will have the unique opportunity to work with a superior coaching staff certified by the United States Skiing Association. Our coaches are well educated, enthusiastic, supportive and skilled motivators who are looking forward to bringing out the best in your child.
Our season begins in November with dryland training sessions here at Nashoba and on snow training day trips to New Hampshire, weather permitting. A 3-day Nashoba Ski Area holiday camp in December helps get everyone ready for the January races. Week night practices start as soon as Nashoba is open and end after the first week in March. A detailed schedule will be distributed as soon as competition dates are set by host mountains. Stay tuned for schedule/calendar to come: www.roversracers.com.
On snow training will take place at Nashoba on Monday and Wednesday nights from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. We suggest you arrive as close to 6:00 pm as possible which will allow the racers to meet their coaches on snow promptly at 6:30 pm.
Our unique style of coaching ensures that racers benefit from each coach's specialty. Station teaching allows the racer to visit each coach and focus on a certain skill or technique for the evening. This also allows racers to establish strong ties with all of our coaches as opposed to just one.
U-12, U-14, U-16, U-18 and U21
