The Buddy Werner League (BWL) and/or Nashoba Valley Ski Club (NVSC)

NVSC is a volunteer/parent run organization for which Nashoba Valley Ski Area provides the coaching.
Philosophy of the club:
The Nashoba Valley Ski Club’s goal is to improve the skills of our members. While competition is encouraged, the main emphasis is on fun. NVSC is a volunteer run ski club.
Q: How old are the BWL racers?
A: 6 years to 14 years

Q: Does my child need previous racing experience?
A: No, it’s a beginning level racing program up through advanced
levels. Your child will learn beginning racing techniques, gate training
and tactics. All racers must be able to ride the lift unassisted.
Q: When are the practices?
A: Thursday nights from 6:30-8:30 pm, 8 & under end at 8pm.
Q: When are the races?
A: BWL races are every Sunday at 8:30am
Q: Where are the races?
A: Nashoba, Ski Ward (Shrewsbury), or Bradford Ski Area (Haverhill)
Q: Are Helmets required?
A: Yes, helmets are required at all practices and races
