Today we hosted the Mt. Dew Vertical Challenge Race at Nashoba. It's a great event with fun racing, prizes, handouts, games, and a chance to qualify for the Mt. Snow championships in late March. Ski you at next year's race! We've been making snow and the conditions are great!

You won't see much skiing in this snow report although we are 100% open and the conditions are great, because we have so many events and programs going on in the next couple of days. February is a busy month with exciting events like ski races and terrain park competitions. We also have charity races, and some fun lesson programs for kids starting up.

After the snow last night, conditions are insanely good! Over 2 foot deep base, fresh powder on top, sunny skies and temps in the 30s. The main park on Sundance is open, and on the first day the park was full of talented skiers and riders using the new jumps on Sundance slope.

Another beautiful day at Nashoba Valley Ski Area in Westford, MA. Pow is open in the beginner area, and Nashoba Slope is open serviced by the Snowdance Double chair. The terrain park added a 4th feature today, they now have a 18 foot down box, 16 foot down rail, 16 foot dance floor, and a 8 foot flat box.
Snowmaking continues this morning, with great success due to nighttime temperatures in the low 20s. No official word on opening day, but with snowmaking again tonight we should be getting very close.
